ATV Trail Riding 

If you are adventurous and not afraid of a little dirt, or if you just want to see the beauty of our mountains in a fun and unique way, the Hatfield-McCoy & Pinnacle Creek ATV Trail offers a complex with trailheads near Pineville and Twin Falls State Park.

Fish, camp, hike or just enjoy a quiet picnic in serene surroundings at the lake or the State Park, featuring cabins and modern lodge facilities.

Golf

Want to hit the links? Wyoming County boasts two 18 hole regulation courses with clubhouse, each set in the magnificent but unhurried surroundings of our mountains.

Racing

 Do you have the need for speed? Come visit Thunder Mountain Speedway. Thunder Mountain Speedway is a 4/10 mile oval dirt track located in Hanover, WV off of US Rt 52 at Lizard Creek Park. It provides racers and fans an exciting family oriented venue full of fun and excitement.


Hunting & Fishing

 Wyoming County is a great place for sportsmen. Enjoy trout fishing and other fishing at the lake or at one of several stocked streams year round. We also have some of the largest trophy whitetail deer in the United States. Wyoming County is a Bow Only county, so be ready for a challenge on your hunt.


Things to See 

Steeped in pioneer and early coal/rail history, the County has in addition to its first class State Park, highways and byways that remind sightseers of  bygone eras.
